When a community commits to doing school differently through the Ford NGL approach to the career academy model, the results speak for themselves. At Romeo High School, students are empowered to choose career pathways that connect them with industry partners, real-world projects, and authentic learning experiences.
The data shows it’s working: 93% of seniors engaged in industry tours, co-op participation continues to grow, and Romeo has expanded opportunities with new partners such as Northwood University, Orthopedic Edge Physical Therapy, Velocity, and The Pond Guy. From mock interviews to entrepreneurship projects and even a visit from Gov. Whitmer, these experiences prepare students to thrive in their futures and contribute to their communities.
